Make Love of Yourself perfect

Yoga is about Unity.

It is like a homecoming.

No matter what level you start from and what style you feel drawn to, the act of choosing to stop and invest time to listen to your breath and to your body is a loud declaration of Self-Love.

As a result your entire system will mirror back that goodness.

Practicing Yoga is the best way to befriend your body from scratch, as if you were inhabiting it for the very first time. You will discover a completely new way to feel it, move it and relate to it.

With time and practice it will turn into your sacred temple, your alley for experiencing Life at its fullest and you will start feeling more compassionate and less judgemental towards it.

Taking good care of it, honouring it and having gratitude for its amazing abilities will become natural.

Your inner dialogue will start to shift and you will be gradually using a new, kind vocabulary when speaking to yourself.

You will learn to hold your tensions and traumas with a complete new attitude and mindset. Hugging your knees to your chest will turn into a moment of totally embracing who you are. Laying in Sāvāsana will feel like the ultimate bliss of surrendering to Mother Earth. Sitting crossed-legged will become your grounding experience when everything else seems to shake your world.

Your overall quality of Life will quietly and gently improve, day after day, organically.

From your breath rate to the flexibility in your joints, from the food you will feel called to choose to the old mental paradigms you will start to deconstruct, it will be like a quiet and loving revolution.

You will start to remember how easy it used to be feeling joyful, as a child. You will rescue that child and listen carefully to him/ her. You will start laughing more about your clumsiness, become less rigid in your tissues and with your opinions, and become a happier version of yourself.

You will forgive more easily and let go more naturally.

Most of all, you will finally heal.

And that will ripple out, further and further. From the inside out, little by little, everything else will naturally fall into place and each day will be a new chance to feel that Life is your greatest blessing.

"All you need is already within you, only you must approach your self with reverence and love. Self-condemnation and self-distrust are grievous errors. Your constant flight from pain and search for pleasure is a sign of love you bear for your self. All I plead with you is this: make love of your self perfect. Deny yourself nothing -- glue your self infinity and eternity and discover that you do not need them; you are beyond."
